Designer note: Working with Melange
One of the charming characteristics of Melange is that it is hand-tied together every nine yards; by the way, here in the United States.
The knots, while contributing to additional textural interest, are not desired in all projects or by every knitter.
Sometimes I desire the extra texture and leave the knots fall where they may, not only pulling them through to the right side but at times, depending on the project, I re-tie them for a lenthier "tail".
If, however, you do not want any of these ties to appear, either untie or snip the knots and join them as you would add any other yarn. Whichever method you choose, Melange truly enables you to create a garment of wearable art.
